Easter is this Sunday you guysss!! I hope you have all been able to find the time to slow down and prepare your hearts during this holy week! I thought this would be the perfect crafternoon to show you guys a few simple Easter egg decorating tips to take your egg decorating to the next level! We decorate easter eggs as a symbol of new life and rebirth in honor of Jesus raising into new life in the resurrection! In this episode, I demonstrate 3 simple techniques you can use on dyed easter eggs to add a little extra pop!
You will want to have some pre-dyed eggs on hand so if you haven’t dyed your Easter eggs yet, now is your chance! A super simple way to dye Easter eggs is to use food coloring and vinegar. Simply mix 1/2 cup hot water with 20 drops of liquid food coloring (5ish drops is using gel food coloring). Mix together thoroughly, then add 1 Tbsp. white vinegar. Stir and place eggs in the dye! That’s pretty much it! The longer you let the eggs soak the more vibrant their colors will be.
Now that you have your eggs dyed..
Get ready to create your own dot & mandala easter eggs!
